Olive oil, sunflower oil, peanut oil, avocados and nuts such as (almond, cashew nut or hazel nut) are known as monounsaturated fat. While soybean oil, corn oil, walnuts, salmon (fish) are know as polyunsaturated fats.

The other fats such as Saturated fats and Trans fats are not at all healthy for you as this type of fats contains lots of cholesterol and fat within them. The biggest example of saturated and trans fats is fried foods or fast food which are now a days easily available in every corner of the street.
